We have added a new waterjet that can cut or erode through virtually any material known, making it one of the most versatile machines available. Waterjets also have very low tolerances, are able to cut a wide range of material thicknesses, and can accommodate almost any sheet size. As one of the fastest growing machine tool industries, waterjet cutting has proven to save time and money on countless applications.
Waterjet cutting is a highly accurate, economical alternative to die cutting, CNC machining, plasma arc cutting, and laser cutting. While ActiveMetal uses all the more traditional methods also, we have water jet machinery that utilizes a computer control system to guide a high-pressure stream of water and abrasive media through a small nozzle to cut complex and intricate shapes in a variety of materials. Waterjet cutting tackles jobs often considered too costly or impossible with conventional methods.
